Argilio Rodriguez, Esq. is the founder and principal attorney of Rodriguez Law, P.C. which provides legal representation to the Latino business and investment community in the areas of business and commercial litigation, business law and transactions, liquor licensing, tax law and securities litigation and arbitration.
Mr. Rodriguez’s clientele ranges through all business sectors and industries, including for example, restaurants, bars/lounges, nightclubs, liquor stores, construction companies, importers/exporters, and supermarkets, among many other types of businesses throughout New York.
Mr. Rodriguez graduated from Cornell University in Ithaca, New York with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Government. He received his Juris Doctor Degree from the Syracuse University College of Law in Syracuse, New York.
Prior to founding Rodriguez Law, P.C., Mr. Rodriguez practiced mergers and acquisitions and securities litigation on behalf of shareholders and institutional investors at Bernstein Litowitz, Berger & Grossman LLP, the #1 ranked firm nationwide in the field of plaintiff securities litigation. Mr. Rodriguez was a member of the team that successfully prosecuted a securities fraud class action against the pharmaceutical giant Bristol-Myers Squibb resulting in a $125 million settlement.
Mr. Rodriguez sits on the Board of Directors of the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of Queens and was given the Making the Difference Award for his “loyal dedication and unwavering commitment” to the goals of the Chamber. He is also a member of the Chamber of Commerce of Washington Heights and Inwood and the New York City Chamber of Commerce.
Mr. Rodriguez is a member of the New York State Bar Association, the New York County Lawyers Association, and the Hispanic National Bar Association.
Mr. Rodriguez has been invited to speak at various functions and events by the New York Police Department, NYC Business Solutions (Washington Heights Branch), and various Chambers of Commerce throughout New York City.
Mr. Rodriguez is a fluent Spanish speaker, born and raised in the Washington Heights section of Manhattan, and prides himself on being deeply involved in the advancement of the Latino business community throughout New York City.
Mr. Rodriguez is also the President of Rodriguez Realty Advisors LLC, a business and commercial brokerage specializing in the purchase, sale and leasing of restaurants, bars, lounges, nightclubs, and liquor/wine stores throughout New York City.
